Wouter Wolfs, PhD, is a Lecturer and Senior Researcher at the Public Governance Institute of the University of Leuven (Belgium), where he teaches about governance of the European Union and comparative politics. Previously, he held the position of political advisor in the European Parliament and was a guest lecturer at the University of Antwerp and visiting research fellow at Maastricht University, Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf, International IDEA and the Historical Archives of the European Union in Florence. He publishes regularly on political finance, party politics and legislative organization, and provides policy advice to the European Commission and the European Parliament on these topics.
