Kennedy is a rising third-year undergraduate student at Princeton University who is pursuing her B.A. in Public Policy and International Affairs. Her studies focus on international security and democratization with special interests in conflict resolution and peacebuilding through the creation of inclusive societies. Before arriving in Canberra, Kennedy completed two summers abroad in South Korea studying Korean language and culture. She spent her first summer through the National Security Language Initiative for Youth program (NSLI-Y) and her second summer through Princeton’s Korean Language Program (KLP). In both programs, Kennedy gained valuable insight into Korean politics and current issues.
