Ana Stegarescu is an accomplished consultant in International IDEA's Regional Europe Programme, contributing to the implementation of high-impact projects in the Republic of Moldova. She has developed extensive hands-on expertise in social media finance monitoring, electoral risk management, and diaspora voter outreach, and is actively engaged in preparations for the 2025 Parliamentary elections. 

Ana excels in strategic project planning, managing and supervising external consultants, ensuring donor compliance, and delivering results in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Her previous experience includes consulting for UNDP Moldova and serving as Project Associate at UN Women Moldova, where she successfully implemented initiatives in governance, gender equality, and civic engagement.

Her area of expertise includes electoral assistance. She holds a MA in Economic Studies (State University of Moldova) and a BA in International Relations (State University of Moldova). She speaks English, Romanian and Russian.
