Section 2.1: Office of The National Elections Commission.
The National Elections Commission of the Republic of Liberia, as an autonomous public commission established by the Constitution of Liberia, shall be composed of seven (7) Members, one of whom shall be appointed as Chairman, and another as Co-chairman, respectively; each of the other five (5) Members shall be called Commissioners. They shall be appointed by the president of Liberia, with the advice and consent of the senate. [Amended in 2003]
