Constitution of Gabon (Amendment by Law No. 2003)

Article 9. The President of the Republic is elected for seven years by direct universal suffrage. He is re-eligible. The election shall be for the candidate who obtained the greatest number of votes.

In 2003, the constitution was amended to remove the country’s run-off system, replacing it with a single round of voting in presidential elections. This system has been in place till the latest presidential elections in 2016. However, in 2018 the constitutional reform re-introduced the two round system (see Source).
