Are official election results processed by an electronic tabulation system?

Article 169.1.- The President of the Polling Station entrusts three (3) originals directly to the main supervisor of the voting center who physically takes them to the OCI for the necessary follow-up and also by electronic transmission, if possible.

Article 169.2.- The Municipal Electoral Office (BEC) is obliged to use the new information technologies made available to it by the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP) in order to electronically and immediately transfer the counting reports to the CEP for the Tabulation Center pending the plasticizers arrive at their destination.

Article 171.- A "Tabulation Center" is set up within the Electoral Council, intended for the collection and processing of the election results. [...]
