Electronic votinghas never been used in the country, during the last elections in 2013, manualvoting procedures were still being utilized. Voters would give their votercards for identification, after which they would be given ballots and proceedto the voting booths.
During the 2011referendum, There were stands in every town with a printed list of names. Whenpeople arrived at the stand, they showed their documentation to poll workers,who found their name on the voter list and handed a ballot to the voter. Thepeople voted in a private booth and then folded their ballot and placed it in aclear box in front of the table attendant.
Thestatus of electronic voting in the country however remains unknown. Theelectoral commission is heavily influenced by the government.
