How technology is used in relation to paper voter lists?

Not explained in the law or other regulations. However election reports states that “Each polling station will have a polling station verification device and a copy of its voter list to confirm the voter’s identity. Voter names will be listed in alphabetical order and each voter who wishes to vote will sign the voter list prior to casting a ballot.”

The Spanish company INDRA awarded a contract to organize the 2014 Iraq election and to provide EMB with devices for electronic voter registration and identification.
