4. Checklist for theProduction of Electoral Roll and VPIC

4.1 The Department ofElectoral Registration and Boundary Delimitation shall ensure that inproduction of the Electoral Roll and VPIC care is taken so that:

4.1.2 all details of aVoter including Mitsi are entered correctly;

4.1.3 serial No. in theVoter’s List is reflected on the top corner of every page for easy reference:

4.1.4 information in theElectoral Roll and the VPIC tally;

4.1.5 ensure that VPICsare not issued to citizens who are under 18 years of age or other ineligiblepersons;

4.1.6 the Electoral Rollsare of good quality;

4.1.7 mentally unsoundpeople are not included in the Electoral Roll;

4.1.8 hardcopy of theVoters’ List is prepared in alphabetical order of names;

4.1.9 where possible, alaptop with digital copy of the Voters’ List is provided to each pollingstation;

4.1.10 training is givenon the use of the E-Roll Search programme;
