Biometric data is not captured electronically however according to the registration procedure at the Centre, the elector is photographed free of charge at the Centre. The Registration Assistant affixes one photograph on the Optical Mark Reader (OMR) Form and another photograph on the voter’s card. The registered voter also signs and thumb prints both the registration application form (Form No. 1) and the voter’s card.
