If the EMB uses technology to collect voter registration data, is biometric data captured and used during registration?

Article 21: Content of the registration
1. Citizen voters are registered through their full name, sex, parents’ names, date and place of birth, as well as the complete address of their habitual residence.
2. The registration also contains the number and the issuing body of the voter’s identity card or the receipt for the identity card or passport.
3. When the citizen voter does not possess the documents mentioned in the previous paragraph, he/she is identified in one of the following ways:
a) By any other document that contains an up-to-date photograph, signature or fingerprint and that is generally used for identification, namely a driver’s licence, a work card, a student card, a military identification card or demobilisation booklet; […]
Article 23: Registration procedure
1. The registration form is dated and signed by the citizen voter as well as by the registration body.
2. If the citizen voter is unable to sign the registration form or mark his/her fingerprint because of an evident physical impossibility, this fact shall be annotated by the registration body on the form itself.
Article 24: Registration Card
1. Upon the act of registration, the citizen is given a voter card which proves his/her registration, duly authenticated by the registration unit, and which shall obligatorily contain:
a) Photograph;
b) Registration number;
c) Complete name of the citizen voter;
d) Date and place of birth;
e) Complete address of his/her habitual place of residence;
f) Geographical registration unit;
g) Signature or fingerprint;
h) Number and issuing body of the identity card or passport, whenever possible.
