Article37. The prosecutor shall be seen as an official person, authorizedwithin the scope of competence established by the present Code, to conduct onbehalf of the state the criminal prosecution in the course of the criminalcourt proceedings, as well as to exert supervision over the procedural activityof the bodies of inquiry and of the bodies for the preliminary investigation.
