103. Time limit for prosecutions - A prosecution against anyperson for a corrupt practice or an illegal practice shall be commenced withinseven (7) days after the day on which the Commissioner has publicly notifiedthe result of the poll: PROVIDED THAT where the person charged has beenreported by the Supreme Court in its report on the trial of an electionpetition to have been proved guilty of the offence a prosecution shall becommenced within six (6) months after the offence was committed or within three(3) months after the date of the report, whichever period is the later toexpire.
