83. Ifthe polling booth officer finds out that a person has committed or iscommitting an offence prescribed by this Law, he may direct a member of thePolice Force on duty or other responsible security personnel to arrest suchperson.
84. TheCommission and Sub-commissions may obtain necessary assistance from governmentdepartments or organisations or other organisations and individuals.
85. Carryingout the duties of a member of the Commission or Sub-commissions or carrying outthe staff duties of election in any capacity shall be deemed to be carrying outthe duties of the State.
86. Nocourt has jurisdiction on the acts and decisions made by the Commission andSub-commissions at various levels and the Election Tribunals under theprovisions of this Law.
87. Nocivil or criminal action shall be taken against the Commission and members ofthe Commission, Sub-commissions at various levels and their members, ElectionTribunals and their members, members of the polling booth teams includingpolling booth officers who in the exercise of the powers conferred lawfullydischarge their duties according to law, in good faith and to the best of theirability.
