Article 167
(1) (Last amendment, SG No. 27/2009) An individual who prevents somebody from exercising his/her right to vote or from being elected through the use of violence, fraud, threat or another illegal way, is subjected to a penalty of imprisonment for a term up to three years and a fine from one to ten thousand BGN. |
Article 168
(1) (Amended, SG No. 28/1982, SG No. 10/1993, previous Article 168, SGNo. 75/2006) A person who exercises voting right, without having such right,shall be punished by probation for up to with six months or by a fine from BGN100 to BGN 300.
Article 168 (2) (New, SG No. 75/2006) Anyone exercising his/herright to vote two or more times for the same election, shall be punished byprobation and a fine of BGN 500 to BGN 2,000.
Article 169 An official as well as a person from the composition of an electioncommission, who violates the secret of vote or in any way alters the results ofan election, shall be punished by deprivation of liberty for up to three yearsor by probation.
