Filing/deposit fee amount (local currency) in the last instance

Article 6.8

The contestant shall enter into a recognizance for payment of costsincurred on the appeal in the following amounts:

 (a)  With respect to the election of a Presidentor Vice President, the Liberian dollar equivalent of five thousand UnitedStates dollars (US$5,000.00); [Amended in 2004]

(b)  With respect to the electionof a Senator, the Liberian dollar equivalent of three thousand United Statesdollars (US$3,000.00); [Amended in 2004]

(c)  With respect to the electionof a member of the House of Representatives, the Liberian dollar equivalent oftwo thousand United States dollars (US$2,000.00); [Amended in 2004]

(d)  With respect to any otherelective public office, the amount shall be determined by the Commission andshall not exceed the Liberian dollar equivalent of two hundred United Statesdollars (US$200.00). [Amended in 2004]
