Law no 12/2014 Artigo 192 (4) (Contenciosoeleitoral).
The appeal is done within 48 hours from the posting ofthe publication of the electoral results by the District Judicial Tribunal incharge or by the Constitutional Counsil in case of national or generaltabulation.
“O recurso ? interposto no prazo de quarenta e oitohoras a contar da afixa??o do editar que publica os resultados eleitorais, parao Tribunal Judicial do Distrito de ocorr?ncia, ou para o ConselhoConstitucional quando se trate do apuramento geral ou nacional.”
Comment
The48 hours to submit a complaint only applies when such complain is submittedbefore the District Judicial Tribunal. When the complaint is submittedreferring to the national tabulation process, there is no such time frame sincethe complaints, according to the article 192, has to be submitted directly tothe Constitutional Court.
