Article38.
(1)Parliament may alter any of the provisions of this Constitution or of theSupreme Court Order in the manner specified in the following provisions of thissection. […]
b)after it has been passed by the Assembly the bill has been approved on areferendum by not less than two-thirds of all the votes validity cast on thatreferendum in the island of Saint Christopher and two-thirds of all the votesvalidly cast on that referendum in the island of Nevis.
Theapproval of two-thirds of those voting in Saint Kitts, and the approval oftwo-thirds of those voting in Nevis is necessary for a referendum to pass.
