Article73

Nationaland local referenda may be held to resolve the most important issues of theState and society.

Article76

Referendashall be conducted by means of universal, free, equal and secret ballot.Citizens of the Republic of Belarus eligible to vote shall take part inreferenda.

Article77

Thedecisions adopted by referendum may be reversed or amended only by means ofanother referendum, unless otherwise specified by the referendum.

Article78

Theprocedure governing the conduct of national and local referenda and a list ofissues that may not be put to a referendum shall be determined by the law ofthe Republic of Belarus.

Article84

ThePresident of the Republic of Belarus shall:

1.call national referenda;
