First instance body dealing with electoral disputes

In 2012,Somalia adopted its new constitution that states that the country has bicamerallegislature (article 55) and the members of the house of people of the federalparliament shall be elected by the citizens of Somalia (article 64).

Theconstitution set a transitional plan where the president and other governmentbodies draft basic laws (including election law). Also the constitution statesthat National Independent Electoral Commission to be established to organizeelection (article 111G). Yet the Somali Parliament did not formulate a draftfor election law and EJ system is not constructed in Somalia.
