Art. 93(1): The Constitutional Court is competent on constitutional and electoral mattersand cases regarding fundamental rights and freedoms.

Art. 94 (2) : The Constitutional Court shalladjudicate disputes regarding national elections.

Art. 155 (1) : Pending the establishment of theConstitutional Court and the Court of Auditors, the Supreme Court remainscompetent to adjudicate cases falling within the jurisdiction conferred to suchcourts respectively.

Art. 167 (1): The Constitutional Court shall hear andadjudicate any complaint and shall give final rulings on the validity of theelection of deputies to the National Assembly.

According to Article 155, paragraph 1, of theConstitution, pending the establishment of the Constitutional Court and theCourt of Auditors, the Supreme Court remains competent to adjudicate casesfalling within the jurisdiction conferred to such courts respectively. Thus,the Supreme Court acts as a Constitutional Court in cases of electoraldisputes.
