39. 1 (Contabiliza??o de despesas e receitas)
1. The candidates to the elections must make account of all the expenses performed during the electoral campaign resulting from the State’s funding, by communicating them to the ENC, within maximum 60 days after the official proclamation of the tabulation’s results.
2. All the funds given by the State referred in the previous article, which are not used or used with a different purpose from the one stated in this law, must be returned to the ENC.

As candidaturas as elei??es devem contabilizar discriminadamente todas as receitas e despesas efectuadas com a campanha eleitoral decorrentes do financiamento do Estado, rubrica por rubrica e por cada tipo de elei??o e comunic?-las ? Commiss?o Nacional de Elei??es, no prazo m?ximo de sessenta dias ap?s a proclama??o oficial dos resultados do escrut?nio.
2. Todas as verbas atribu?das pelo Estado referidas no artigo anterior, que n?o sejam utilizadas ou tenham sido utilizadas para fins distintos do estabelecido na presente Lei, devem ser devolvidas ? Comiss?o Nacional de Elei??es.
Artigo 41 (Presta??o e aprecia??o de contas)
3. If the contenders’ entities to the elections do not make account within the term established in number 1 of article 39 of the current law, or if they do no proceed to the presentation of new bills, in the terms of number 2 of this article or if it is decided that there was infraction to what disposed by article 39 of the current law, the ENC participates in the Public Ministry, to the procedure, in the terms of the law.
3. Se as entidades concorrentes ?s elei??es n?o prestarem contas no prazo fixado no n?mero 1 do artigo 39 da presente Lei, ou se n?o procederem ? apresenta??o de novas contas, nos termos do n?mero 2 do presente artigo ou se concluir que houve infrac??o ao disposto no artigo 39 da presente Lei, a Comiss?o Nacional de Elei??es participa ao Minist?rio P?blico, para procedimento, nos termos da lei.
Artigo 217(N?o contabiliza??o de despesas e receitas)
Those who violate what established in article 39 of the current Law are punished with a fee from 25 to 50 national minimum salaries.
Aquele que violar o disposto no artigo 39 da presente Lei ? punido com pena de multa de vinte e cinco a cinquenta sal?rios min?mos nacionais.
Artigo 218 (N?o presta??o de contas)
1. Those who violate what established in number 1 of article 41 of the current Law are punished with a fine from 25 to 50 national minimum salaries and they are not allowed to run in the following elections.
2. The members of the central bodies of political parties, coalitions of political parties, groups of voting citizens, representatives of list, delegates, respond together to the fines’ payment.
1. Aquele que violar o disposto no n?mero 1 do artigo 41 da presente Lei ? punido com pena de multa de vinte e cinco a cinquenta sal?rios m?nimos nacionais e fica impedido de concorrer nas elei??es seguintes.
2. Os membros dos ?rg?os centrais dos partidos políticos, coliga??es de partidos politicos, grupos de cidad?os eleitores proponentes, mandat?rios de lista, delegados ou representantes, respondem solidariamente pelo pagamento das multas.
