39. 1 (Contabiliza??o de despesas e receitas)
1. Thecandidates to the elections must make account of all the expenses performedduring the electoral campaign resulting from the State’s funding, bycommunicating them to the ENC, within maximum 60 days after the officialproclamation of the tabulation’s results.
2. All thefunds given by the State referred in the previous article, which are not usedor used with a different purpose from the one stated in this law, must bereturned to the ENC.

As candidaturas as elei??es devem contabilizardiscriminadamente todas as receitas e despesas efectuadas com a campanhaeleitoral decorrentes do financiamento do Estado, rubrica por rubrica e porcada tipo de elei??o e comunic?-las ? Commiss?o Nacional de Elei??es, no prazom?ximo de sessenta dias ap?s a proclama??o oficial dos resultados doescrut?nio.
2. Todas as verbas atribu?das pelo Estado referidas noartigo anterior, que n?o sejam utilizadas ou tenham sido utilizadas para finsdistintos do estabelecido na presente Lei, devem ser devolvidas ? Comiss?oNacional de Elei??es.
Artigo 41 (Presta??o e aprecia??o de contas)
3. If thecontenders’ entities to the elections do not make account within the term establishedin number 1 of article 39 of the current law, or if they do no proceed to the presentationof new bills, in the terms of number 2 of this article or if it is decided thatthere was infraction to what disposed by article 39 of the current law, the ENCparticipates in the Public Ministry, to the procedure, in the terms of the law.
3. Se as entidades concorrentes ?s elei??es n?oprestarem contas no prazo fixado no n?mero 1 do artigo 39 da presente Lei, ouse n?o procederem ? apresenta??o de novas contas, nos termos do n?mero 2 dopresente artigo ou se concluir que houve infrac??o ao disposto no artigo 39 dapresente Lei, a Comiss?o Nacional de Elei??es participa ao Minist?rio P?blico,para procedimento, nos termos da lei.
Artigo 217(N?o contabiliza??o de despesas e receitas)
Those whoviolate what established in article 39 of the current Law are punished with afee from 25 to 50 national minimum salaries.
Aquele que violar o disposto no artigo 39 da presenteLei ? punido com pena de multa de vinte e cinco a cinquenta sal?rios min?mosnacionais.
Artigo 218 (N?o presta??o de contas)
1. Those whoviolate what established in number 1 of article 41 of the current Law arepunished with a fine from 25 to 50 national minimum salaries and they are notallowed to run in the following elections.
2. Themembers of the central bodies of political parties, coalitions of politicalparties, groups of voting citizens, representatives of list, delegates, respondtogether to the fines’ payment.
1. Aquele que violar o disposto no n?mero 1 do artigo41 da presente Lei ? punido com pena de multa de vinte e cinco a cinquentasal?rios m?nimos nacionais e fica impedido de concorrer nas elei??es seguintes.
2. Os membros dos ?rg?os centrais dos partidospolíticos, coliga??es de partidos politicos, grupos de cidad?os eleitoresproponentes, mandat?rios de lista, delegados ou representantes, respondemsolidariamente pelo pagamento das multas.
