Oman - October 2025

On 27 October, the Sultan of Oman enacted a new disability rights law, updating the national framework for the rights and inclusion of people with disabilities. A key provision of the law mandates that government bodies and private sector entities with 40 or more employees must ensure that at least 5 per cent of their workforce comprises people with disabilities.
