Section 84 - (new) (1) Every elector whose name has been entered on the electoral register shall be issued a biometric voter card which shall bear their full name, date and place of birth, parentage, photograph, finger prints, occupation, domicile or residence.

(2) Voter cards shall be permanent.

(3) Where voter cards are renewed or new names are entered on the electoral register, the cards shall be distributed within a period of 40 (forty) days before the polling day. […]
