'There are no formal political parties in Tuvalu. There is an informal Opposition side which comprises mainly of Members of Parliament who do not side with the government. Members in the government or the informal Opposition sides make their own rules regarding sources of funds that they may be able to collect or to source [sic]. The sources or the use of these funds are not disclosed to the public and it is said that any funds that these groups may have are not significant.
