BIOGRAPHY  

Alfonso Ferrufino works with planning and analysis. He is also involved in advocacy work with partners and strategic decision makers.

Ferrufino has previously worked as a Coordinator of the Democratic Strengthening Programme UNDP/International IDEA (2005-2007), as the Managing Director of the Foundation in Support of Parliament and for Citizen Participation FUNDAPPAC (1997-2005), as Interior Minister (2003-2004), as National Deputy for the department of Cochabamba (1979-1997) and as Second Vice-president of the Lower Chamber (1993-1997).   

Education: 
Law (University San Simón, Bolivia), degree in Sociology (University of Louvain, Belgium).
