In the cases of Buenos Aires and Salta where the use of the single electronic ballot is most prominent, blank ballots are inserted in the voting machines, where voters use a touch screen to select their preferred candidates. The machine then prints the voter’s selections onto their inserted ballot, which is then returned to the voter, who must place the ballot in an official box to be counted. The selections of each voter are not sent electronically for tabulation, nor are they saved on the devices.
If e-voting is currently being used, what type(s) of technology used?
