Implementation of strategic planning tool for political parties in Haiti

International IDEA Haiti programme and the GP-Political Parties Participation and Representation Programme are implementing the Strategic Planning Tool for political parties in Haiti.

Using this tool, International IDEA staff and local consultants are facilitating a strategic planning process for the main parties represented in Haitian Parliament. This process will strengthen politicians' capacities to engage in organizational learning, internal dialogue and building a shared understanding of the current state and future of their respective parties.

A training for the facilitators was organized on 27-28 April 2017 to ensure full ownership of the tool by national consultants who will assist political parties. The actual planning process with political parties will take place 3-5 May 2017.
