Brookings-Pew Discussion on Global Attitudes Toward Democracy

Brookings Foreign Policy program’s Democracy Working Group (DWG) and the Pew Research Center, will run a Roundtable discussion as part of a collaboration between them that brings Pew researchers in conversation with Brookings scholars and the broader policy community. 

The roundtable will focus on the forthcoming Pew Research Center's report on "Global Attitudes Toward Democracy" which will be published on the morning of 27 February 2020.

The director of the Global Attitudes Research team at Pew, Richard Wike, will present the report and lead a discussion of the survey’s findings based on polling conducted in 34 countries. Annika Silva-Leander, the head of the Democracy Assessment and Political Analysis (DAPA) Unit at International IDEA, will take part in the roundtable discussion bringing her insights from International IDEA's latest report on the Global State of Democracy.
