BIOGRAPHY  

Carolina Acosta Sanabria is the Administrative Assistant for International IDEA's Paraguay Programme, in the Latin America and the Caribbean region.

Acosta Sanabria's work focuses on assisting the planning, administrative and logistical arrangement and implementation of International IDEA’s programming activities. Additionally, she assists in drafting programme documents, communication and institutional documents. She is also the community manager of the Paraguay Programme.

Acosta Sanabria’s previous work experience includes working for five years at the World Health Organization (WHO) in Paraguay, as a technical project assistant, where she gained extensive and solid experience in development projects implementation focused on public health.  As a young professional at WHO, she was recognized for her academic achievements as she finished her undergraduate studies while working at WHO.

Earlier, while In Australia, she worked for APPEN as a language specialist, supporting a research project in her native language Guarani.
