57: There shall be a Parliament of Botswana which shall consist of the President and a National Assembly. 
63: Botswana shall be divided into as many constituencies as there are Elected Members of the National Assembly and each of those constituencies shall return one Member to the National Assembly. 
First Schedule to the Constitution : Election of 'Specially Elected Members' of the National Assembly 
4: (1) The President shall nominate four candidates for election in the case of a general election [for Specially Elected Members of the National Assembly] ... (2) The names of the four candidates ... nominated for election by the President ... shall be presented to the National Assembly ... and any Elected Member of the Assembly ... shall thereupon be entitled to nominate four candidates for election in the case of a general election [for Specially Elected Members] ... (3) A list of the candidates nominated by the President and the Elected Members of the National Assembly ... shall be prepared, and each Elected Member of the Assembly shall be entitled to vote - (a) in the case of a general election [for Specially Elected Members], for four candidates ... (5) An Elected Member of the National Assembly shall not cast more than one vote for any one candidate. 
7: In the case of a general election [for Specially Elected Members] ... those persons shall be deemed to have been elected as Specially Elected Members who stand in the first and each succeeding place on the list until the number of persons to be elected as Specially Elected Members has been completed. 
43: A poll for the purposes of this Act shall be taken by ballot and the results shall be ascertained by counting the votes given to each candidate, the candidate to whom the majority of votes has been given being deemed to have been elected.
