SHAREBIOGRAPHY
Mahitab Mahgoub is a Programme Officer for Gender and Women’s Political Empowerment in the Khartoum Office of the Africa and West Asia Programme.
Mahgoub joined International IDEA on 1 August 2020. Her work focuses on supporting the design, planning and implementation of the gender component of the Sudan country programme and analyzing the developments in the intersection between gender and politics in Sudan and globally.
Before joining International IDEA, Mahitab worked in different non-governmental organizations and embassies on areas such as political analysis, women’s inclusion and capacity development.
