Human Security and Disarmament: disarmament efforts, arms control, Small Arms and Light Weapons (esp in Latin America in cooperation with regional and national NGO networks as well as a tripartite cooperation with Save the Children and the Parliamentary Forum on Small Arms), the “Gothenburg process” – a series of ecumenical conferences on arms trade, monitoring Swedish arms exports and Sweden’s “Policy for Global Development from a human security perspective. Peace Service: recruitment, training and field service for peace monitors and civilian accompaniers in conflict areas (Chiapas, Guatemala, Colombia), related advocacy work and management of an international emergency alert network. Facilitation of South-South exchanges and trainings in cooperation with organizations in Mexico, Guatemala, Colombia, Angola and Western Sahara.

Middle East: advocacy work in Sweden, active participation in the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel (EAPPI), www.eappi.org

Sudan: joint educational projects with a local civil society organization, advocacy work in Sweden.

Colombia: advocacy work together with civil society networks.

Nonviolence and peace education: trainings in nonviolence and peaceful conflict resolution; cooperation with churches and organisations within the Decade to Overcome Violence / United Nations Decade of a Culture of Peace and Nonviolence for the Children of the World (http://www.fredivarahander.nu). Cooperation with partners in Colombia, Sudan and Israel/Palestine.
