Areas of work: Horn Organization for Peace and Democracy Building is registered in Finland. It is founded by group of Somali intellectuals residing in Finland. The main objective of this organization is to support peace and democratic initiatives in the horn in general and Somali inhabited countries in particular. The organization has held some workshops on the experiences of peace and democratisation processes of Somaliland. The organization is planning to implement projects relating to gender, peace and good governance in the horn to consolidate peace and democracy in Somalia and Somaliland. HODPB is ready for cooperation with other organizations with the similar objectives.
