Areas of work: Conflict Resolution and transformation
Our mission is to strength capacities for public conflicts prevention and transformation, through cooperative processes of consensus building fostering human development. In this sense, we work in environmental, social, youth and local development issues.

  • Promotion of democratic, transparent and participative practices to transform decision making processes in public policies.
  • Creation of community sense by building channels of sustained dialogue.
  • Development of methodologies and processes of consensus building involving full participation of citizens and multiplies social groups for conflict resolution and decision making in public issues.
  • Building capacity to different social actors (government, civil society organizations and private sector) in communication skills, consensus building tools and conflict management methodologies.

Tools:
  • Cooperative Processes
    This is an innovative tool to work in a participative way in the design and development of Public Conflict Management and Consensus Building Processes.
  • Facilitation
    This is a technique to organize and maximize the efficiency of complex meetings, involving preparation of participants, building of the agenda, conduction of the meeting and dissemination of the information.
  • Trainings
    We train in effective communication, collaborative negotiation, mediation and cooperative planning to approach conflict prevention and transformation.

 

Current projects

Title: SIM-2000

Project description:
The primary product of our project will be an on-line and real interactive role-play simulation that enables users to interface traditional consensus-building tools with well-known Latin American conflicts.


Title: Religions for peace

Project description:
A project to contributing to the construction of a peace-based culture by fostering dialogue and development of privileged strategies for conflict transformation. The overall aim of the project is: “strengthening religious leader’s skills as strategic (key) actors for sustaining collaborative processes aimed at building consensus to contribute  to the achievement of a society able to transform its conflicts towards sustainable development and democratic governance”.


Title: Collaborative dialogue process for land tenure and territorial regulations in Puerto Iguazú

Project description:
Promotion of a multi-stakeholder collaborative process to solve a conflict around the tenure of State’s land. Coordination of stakeholders (community, businessmen, local and provincial government) for the generation and implementation of public policies defined under consensus.

Project description:
Promotion of dialogue spaces multi-sector and trans-border.
