Experiences from constitution building work in Spain, Colombia and Bolivia were discussed, shared and analyzed during an International IDEA and NIMD seminar held in May 2007, in order to provide an overview for the forthcoming Constituent Assembly in Ecuador. The seminar focused on issues related to decentralization and autonomy building.
