On the 10th of July International IDEA’s Office in Armenia and the Central Electoral Commission of Armenia finalized and agreed on
the Strategy for the Enhancement of professional capacities and skills of the EMB in Armenia. This strategy paper incorporates the detailed steps and actions to be undertaken for the period of July 2006-February 2007. Also, recommendations are presented on the possible actions to be implemented by December 2007 and after the timeframe the strategy covers. Those actions are to ensure the sustainability of the Enhancement of professional capacities and skills of the EMB in Armenia.
This Strategy is a joint product, based on the Memorandum of Understanding between International IDEA and the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia signed within the framework of the International IDEA’s project on “Development of Sustainable Democracy in Armenia: Enhancement Electoral Administration and Political Participation” on 16th of May 2006.
