Renewing the ACP-EU Partnership for the 21st Century' is organised to provide a platform for a cross-section of participants from the ACP and EU countries to explore practical ways to deepen the political dialogue for democratic development (focused on the application of democratic principle, the strengthening of the rule of law and good governance, and the promotion of human rights) through a partnership approach.
In particular, the Conference aims to discuss operating principles, structures, instruments and institutional implications of political dialogue related to the four stated objectives to which the parties have contracted themselves and the support for advancing these objectives.
