Experience:
Therese joined IDEA’s external relations unit as a Research Assistant in January 2008.
She worked as a Research Assistant with the EU Presidency Project from its inception in September 2009 until its closure in June 2010.
She joined Global Programmes and the Protecting and Promoting the Integrity of the Electoral Processes (PPIEP) Project in September 2010.
Education:
Master’s degree in political science and development studies from Uppsala University in Sweden.
Exchange programme in political science at the University of Connecticut in the United States.
Minor Field Study in Hyderabad, India.
Internship at the Department for Development Policy at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs in 2007, working with Democracy Ambassador Maria Leissner among other things on the joint MFA-IDEA conference Challenges to Democracy-Building.
