Experience: From 2002-2004 he served as Programme Officer for West Africa and the Great Lakes Region at SaferAfrica, an International NGO based in Pretoria South Africa. Working primarily on peace and security issues he worked with governments and regional organizations on technical assistance and capacity building programmes. Prior to joining SaferAfrica, he worked as a Foreign Service Officer in the Ministry of Foreign of Uganda since 1994. During this period he worked in the International Organizations department focusing on political affairs as well with the Europe department with greater emphasis on development cooperation. His last assignment in the Ministry was with the diplomatic section of the Office of the President where he was in charge of francophone countries.
Education: M.A. in International Relations, University of Kent at Canterbury, M.A. in International Policy Studies (Security and Development) , Monterey Institute of International Studies and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Schiller University. He is fluent in English and French.
