Experience: Ingrid joined IDEA in February 2004 as Director of Planning and External Relations at International IDEA. She was previously Director at the Department for Global Development at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, which she joined in 1990. She was posted to Tanzania between 1992 and 1995, and to Zambia between 1995 and 1997.
Education: Ingrid holds a BA in business administration from Uppsala University. She has been working with democracy and human rights in development, both as a practitioner and as a policy maker, for most of her career.
