Marie Doucey

Former Senior Programme Officer

Marie Doucey’s work focuses on implementing International IDEA’s programme to support democratic consolidation in Haiti. The programme aims to strengthen political parties, parliamentary structures and electoral processes. It aims to increase the political participation and representation of women, the engagement of youth and accountability to citizens.

Doucey’s previous work experience includes working as Policy Analyst with UNDP Haiti, where she coordinated Haiti’s 2014 MDGs Report. She also conducted various research projects, such as the Role of Peacekeeping Operations in Electoral Processes, and Gender and Human Security in the Haitian-Dominican Border Zone.
